2009 IT Achievement Awards 

 

Call for Nominations

NASCIO is seeking nominations for its 2009 Recognition Awards honoring successful state government information technology initiatives that promote innovation, foster better government, and engage citizens.  NASCIO places emphasis on recognizing initiatives which exemplify best practices, support the public policy goals of state leaders, assist government officials to innovatively execute their duties, and provide cost-effective service to citizens.  Award categories -- one nomination per category per state:

  • Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
  • Cross-Boundary Collaboration and Partnerships
  • Data, Information and Knowledge Management
  • Digital Government: Government to Business (G to B)
  • Digital Government: Government to Citizen (G to C)
  • Digital Government: Government to Government (G to G)
  • Enterprise IT Management Initiatives
  • Information Communications Technology (ICT) Innovations
  • Information Security and Privacy
  • IT Project and Portfolio Management

For the nomination template and other related materials, go to www.NASCIO.org/awards.  Nominations will be coordinated through DoIT and must be submitted to DoIT by May 15, 2009
DoIT will submit all entries to NASCIO by the June 3, 2009 deadline.

 

CENTER FOR DIGITAL GOVERNMENT is seeking nominations for the following 2009 Awards:

  • Digital Government Achievement Awards– all levels of all governments may nominate their applications, projects, agencies’ and department’s Web sites.

    To download the nomination document and for other related materials, go to http://www.centerdigitalgov.com/DGAA2009.  Nominations will be coordinated through DoIT and must be submitted to DoIT by May 29, 2009.  DoIT will submit all entries to the Center for Digital Government by the June 15, 2009 deadline.

  •  Best of the Web Awards– state and local US government may nominate their main Web sites/portals (one nomination per jurisdiction).

    To download the nomination document and for other related materials, go to http://www.centerdigitalgov.com/BOW2009.  Nominations will be coordinated through DoIT and must be submitted to DoIT by May 29, 2009.  DoIT will submit all entries to the Center for Digital Government by the June 15, 2009 deadline.

  • Best Fit Integrator Recognition Awards – state and local US government may nominate their private sector partners for stellar services and solutions.

    Nominations will be coordinated through DoIT and must be submitted to DoIT by April 29 2009
    DoIT will submit all entries to the Center for Digital Government by the May 8, 2009 deadline.
