The Contract Management page provides information to State agencies and business partners regarding State CM practices. These practices are intended to assist agencies in maximizing the State's investment in information technology (IT) and aid business partners in understanding Maryland's prescribed processes and methodologies.

There are three pri​mary elements to effective contract management:

In addition to providing guidance, the Project Management Office's CM branch provides CM oversight for Department of Information Technology and statewide IT and telecommunications contracts. The IT contracts include hardware, software and services. The telecommunications contracts include products and services for voice, data and wireless.​​

Help Stop Fraud in State Government

The Maryland General Assembly’s Office of Legislative Audits operates a toll-free fraud hotline to receive allegations of fraud and/or abuse of State government resources. Information reported to the hotline in the past has helped to eliminate certain fraudulent activities and protect State resources.
