ArcGIS Online for Maryland

ArcGIS Online for Maryland is Maryland's original ArcGIS Online (AGOL) organization, on Esri's cloud platform. For more information on Maryland’s second AGOL organization, please visit the Maryland Geo Share organization. The ArcGIS Online for Maryland resource is an online collection of apps, data, geographic knowledge and maps relating to all aspects of Maryland State Government. This organization also offers access to web application development tools for quick deployment of interactive mapping applications, which are accessible on any device, desktop or mobile.
 

Service Level Objective (SLO):

ArcGIS Online has a 99.9% uptime service level objective; excluding planned outages, maintenance windows and unavoidable events.
 

Features and Benefits:

ArcGIS Online for Maryland is enabling State agencies to collaborate by sharing geospatial data between agencies and sharing informative maps and apps with the public. This web-based, cloud platform hosts a substantial collection of maps, applications and geographic knowledge.
 
  • Quickly build and deploy interactive mapping applications that can be viewed on any device.
  • Collaborate with other geospatial data users based on areas of interest or projects.
  • Communicate and share data with specific individuals or post for public viewing and engagement.
  • Use AGOL maps with the MD iMAP template to create enhanced mapping applications.
  • Visualize program solutions for topics, including environment and emergency management.
  • Conduct analysis and obtain analytical conclusions, on-the-fly, with built in tools and functions.
 
Eligible: State employees or Contractors performing work on behalf of the State
 
Availability (Uptime): 24 hours / 365 days
 
Standard Support Hours:  7am – 9pm Monday - Friday
 
Exceptions: The Service Desk is not available during State Holidays or Service Reduction Days
 
Response (to incident) Time: Based on priority, see SLA
 
Resolution (of incident) Time: Based on priority, see SLA
 
Maintenance Windows: Esri pushes updates without any disruption of service
 
Security – Password via the application and Connect Maryland Secure Portal
 
Business Critical Service: Yes; Recovery Time – 4 hours
