Application Systems Management (ASM)

The Application Systems Management (ASM) Division supports more than 6,000 customers of the statewide finance, procurement, and human resource applications. By providing ready access to current, complete, and consistent information, these applications provide the functionality necessary to effectively manage statewide administrative processes, and allow Maryland's policy makers and agency managers to make informed business decisions.

ASM is committed to providing systems and services that meet the needs of our customers. If you should experience service or performance degradation, please contact the Customer Service Desk immediately at (410) 260-7778. Suggestions for application improvements and other non-critical, time sensitive issues can be emailed to the Customer Service Desk.

ASM Bulletin Board
It is suggested that all FMIS users have access to the FMIS Bulletin Board System (BBS). The BBS is utilized across the state as a means of communication for the users. The information that is distributed through the BBS is very useful to the FMIS user. Announcements on system problems, system hour changes, batch cycle information, user group meeting announcements and minutes, migrations for new additions, and job opportunities are readily available and updated on a daily basis on the BBS. For more information about the BBS or to obtain a logon ID, contact the Service Desk at 410-260-7778 or send an email to servdesk@doit.state.md.us.
