​Find the telecommunications solution that’s right for you with a free evaluation from the Maryland Accessible Telecommunications (MAT) program. The evaluation is mandatory for all MAT program participants who are approved to receive equipment provided by the State. Learn more about the application process.

What To Expect

• During your evaluation, you will work one-on-one with a MAT program evaluator. You and the evaluator will discuss your telecommunications needs and goals.
• The evaluator will show you a variety of equipment options, and explain how to use each one.
• You will have the opportunity to practice dialing, answering and talking on each option, until a solution is found for you.
• The evaluator will place your order, and your equipment will be shipped to you within 4-6 weeks.

Scheduling an Evaluation

Evaluation centers are located throughout the state of Maryland. Once your MAT application has been approved, MAT will provide you with further details for scheduling an evaluation at one of the following centers.
