Verify that the favicon.ico file in located in /egov/img directory and that the link exists in your index page (see code reference below).

If you don't have a Maryland.gov url we can help. Complete the online request at https://net.md.gov/dns (requires connection to Statewide Government Intranet (SwGI)). Email dlwebcom_doit@maryland.gov, if you require further assistance.

• Make sure the image file is posted on your webserver.
• Do a Find for "Step 1" (there are comments above the areas you need to edit) on your index page, you will have to update the path information highlighted in yellow above to point to the file you posted.
• Icon should now appear in the address bar and in bookmark/favorite lists.
