DoIT offers a variety of project management templates to assist State Agencies for each phase of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The templates provide both a framework and a roadmap in documenting, clearly communicating, and managing project information throughout these phases. These templates may be used to meet documentation requirements for Major Information Technology Development Projects (MITDPs); however, these templates can also be utilized by agencies working on projects that are not designated as MITDPs. Agencies may use their own templates for MITDPs, with concurrence from the Oversight Project Managers (OPMs) but must ensure the minimum required information is provided within these documents. Please refer to the matrix below for the list of templates outlined by project phase. The matrix also indicates which documents are required for MITDP projects.
