Maryland FiRST DoIT team participated in the 2017 Command and Communication
Vehicle Rally at BWI last week. Public Safety, Emergency Management,
Transportation and Homeland Security agencies from local jurisdictions,
Maryland, neighboring states and federal participated. The event was hosted
by Baltimore Urban Security Initiative (USAI) and Peake (Technology
Integrator).
Radio roll calls were made during the testing of the command vehicles
communications, one of which used MD TAC. The MD FiRST DoIT team meet with
many of our Primary and Interoperable radio users, as well as some
localities that are interested in becoming users. We answered many question
for both.
