Web Services manages maryland.gov - the State’s Internet portal as a central location for citizens to access services provided by enterprise state agencies. Web Services operates enterprise content management platform for hosting of agency web sites. The division administers standards and guidelines for agency web sites, accessibility, graphics, social media and statewide web applications.

Services

Enterprise Content Management The ​​​Enterprise Content Management Services provides complete content managment for all Enterprise Agency public facing websites using DoIT’s standard agency template. Services include site migration, page design, site analytics, user administration, user training, and 24x7x365 maintenance and support.
​Website Standards The Website Standards provides guidelines and agency web standards including templates, search, widgets, language translation, and accessibility guidelines. This service also provides DNS Governance and approval of all maryland.gov and subdomains.
Agency Content/Multimedia Design/Social Media​ The Agency Content Service provides custom design services including graphics, CSS, and HTML. Additional services include video editing for web content, management of state graphics library and management of state social media accounts and enterprise social engagement tool.
Web Development​ ​The Web Development services provides custom development for integration of web services, APIs, and application data to websites. Additional services include management of the State portal (Maryland.gov), and eGov services for agencies including payment processing, event registration, and widgets.
Forms and Surveys​ ​​The Forms and Surveys services provides for the design of online forms/surveys for agency web sites. Report generation, and customization can also be included.
Statewide Calendar​ The Statewide Calendar service provides calendar software for agencies to create, import, manage registration, and create custom view of events.​
