IT Procurement Office

The Strategic Planning Division IT Procurement Office is responsible for the effective and efficient management of various information technology contracts. Functions include:

  • Manage statewide information technology master contracts to ensure task orders are awarded in a timely fashion and meet State policies.
  • Confer with DoIT management and agency staff to determine contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate with DBM management, agency support staff, technical personnel and vendors to solve problems, as appropriate.
  • Implement and maintain enterprise licenses.
  • Ensure tasks performed under agency information technology plans conform with State policies and with the State Information Technology Master Plan.

In addition, the office provides guidance and assistance to agencies preparing IT requests-for-proposals (RFP) so that RFPs and resulting contracts are high quality, can be approved by the Board of Public Works, and will yield successful projects.​​
