Independent Assessment Services (IAS) Master Contract

The objective of this Master Contract, effective March 20, 2014 through March 19, 2019 is to enable State government Agencies to procure IT assessment services in a timely and economical manner. Through IAS, State Agencies will have a flexible means of obtaining information technology (IT) assessment services quickly, efficiently and cost effectively by issuing task orders specific to its needs.

Scope:

The IAS Master Contract has a scope which is limited to independent assessments of several types. Examples of services provided by this contract are:

  • Snapshot and Lifecycle IV&Vs
  • Certification and Accreditation (C&A) Assessments
  • Organizational Assessments
  • Risk Assessments
  • Double Blind Assessments
  • Expert assistance for IT strategic and project planning.

Procurement Process

Two types of IAS TORFPs are used with this Master Contract:

  • A Long Form IAS TORFP similar to CATS + for larger assessments
  • A Short Form IAS TORFP for smaller, shorter and less complex assessments.
