Application Systems Management
Supporting more than 48,000 customers distributed across various agencies, ASM develops, implements and maintains statewide applications such as the Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS), R*STARS, ADPICS, Google Apps for Work, Employee Benefits, and Ad-Hoc Reporting.
CyberSecurity
DoIT’s Cyber Security team provides State agencies with a common statewide strategy for secure, effective, and technically sound use of the State's information technology resources. The team is responsible for the establishment of Security Policies, Security Guidance, Security Awareness, and is a source of IT security information for State agencies.
End User Services
DoIT’s end user services ensure all State workers can access their work environments in a secure manner and ensure a consistent user experience.
Infrastructure Services
DoIT provides a number of IT infrastructure-related services to Executive Branch State agencies.
Radio
The Radio Group is responsible for the infrastructure of communications towers, equipment shelters and microwave and/or fiber connectivity between sites. The Unit administers the wireless system with oversight provided by a governing board and steering committee.
Web ServicesWeb Services manages the State’s portal (maryland.gov) for citizens to access resources and services provided by State agencies. Web Services operates enterprise content management platform for hosting of enterprise agency web sites. The division administers standards and guidelines for agency web sites, accessibility, graphics, social media and statewide web applications.
