Maryland Information Technology (IT) policies, standards and guidelines facilitate the efficient and appropriate use of IT systems by State agencies.
Maryland IT contracts require contractors to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, standards and guidelines affecting IT. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure adherence to new or amended IT policies, standards and guidelines affecting project execution. The contractor will work with the agency to determine other policies and guidelines, in addition to those listed on this page, requiring adherence.
