Advanced Training

Advanced Incumbent Training Designed for those seeking certification​:

5-Week, 2-Part Program on Governance, Risk & Compliance and Cyber Range Practicum culminating in a certificate validating readiness for GRC support roles.

May 18 – June 23, 2026

(Part I Live Instruction: 3 – 5 PM daily)

(Part II Live Instruction: 9 AM – 1 PM & 1 – 5 PM daily)​

• MD State or Local Government employee
• Manager approval for training during business hours
• Must be 18 years or older
• Current role in IT, cybersecurity, IT management, compliance, audit, or a related function
• Demonstrated responsibility for systems, data, or users (e.g., admin, management, oversight role)
• Completion of COMET Incumbent training or at least two years of IT/cyber experience.
