Training (EARN)

This service provides cybersecurity training to Maryland state and local government employees. This Statewide training includes BCR Cyber​’s Cybersecurity Operational Methods Education Training (“COMET”) which consists of both Incumbent and Advanced Incumbent Training.

Incumbent Training provides an introduction and review of IT and cybersecurity concepts, tools, threats, and vulnerabilities. The Advanced Incumbent Training course includes cybersecurity training and preparation for CompTIA Security+ certification.​

Training (CISA)

CISA Learning:

CISA’s new Learning Management System​ replaced the Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE) and multiple other platforms. CISA Learning is the go-to learning platform for CISA staff, contractors, and external partners. CISA Learning​ will offer many of the same no-cost online cybersecurity training courses as FedVTE on topics such as cloud security, ethical hacking and surveillance, risk management, malware analysis, and more.

CISA Learning​ is Available For:

Federal government employees and contractors
State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) government employees
U.S. military personnel and Veterans
General public

Security Awareness Training

This service teaches employees how to protect their organization's assets and data, and cultivates a culture of cybersecurity by providing the customer with engaging microlearning content and phishing simulations to test the effectiveness of the training. The DoIT security awareness team manages the configuration of the training platform and the enrollment of agency users in training.
