Jason Silva
Jason Silva, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the
Office of Platform and Client Services, is a seasoned IT Executive with over 25 years of experience. He has held multiple C-level positions specializing in Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). In his role at the Maryland Department of Information Technology, Silva leverages his cross-functional expertise in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to enhance the agency's platform services.
Most recently, Jason served as the Deputy CTO for the Maryland Department of Transportation. In this role, he demonstrated his ability to lead and innovate in a wide array of IT areas, driving many of the enterprise platform modernization efforts across the department. His experience modernizing platform services will help support DoIT’s mission of providing vital technology solutions to the Executive Branch, State Agencies, and Coordinating Offices, enabling Marylanders to live and work more safely, efficiently, and productively.
